Grand Jury Oversight

Restoring Accountability = Justice for All

Our Mission

Grand Jury Oversight works to restore and protect the natural, constitutional, and historically independent authority of Grand Juries—so they can serve the People as originally intended.

We ensure Grand Juries are:

  • Chosen by the People, not selected or influenced by judges, prosecutors, or political interests.

  • Accessible to the People, able to receive complaints—including corruption, public or private.

  • Properly trained in their constitutional rights, duties, and investigative authority.

  • Supported with resources to fulfill their essential role in the community.

We uphold the Grand Jury’s right and duty to investigate crime and corruption—public or private—free from interference. All of our work is rooted in respect for the rule of law and the natural and constitutional principles on which our Republic is founded.

Historical Context

Restoring a 1,000-Year Legacy of People's Oversight

For nearly a millennium, Grand Juries have shielded the People from abuse — grounded in Natural Law, affirmed in the Magna Carta, rooted in Common Law, and embedded in American constitutional tradition.

People’s oversight of Grand Juries is not new. It is a longstanding, essential, and unalienable right to ensure justice and accountability.

It has been stripped away from us over time— especially after the 1946 Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure changes — however, this civic power is now being reclaimed.

The growing RestoreGrandJuryRights.org movement, launched in Virginia Beach, Virginia, empowers people to restore the Grand Jury’s full authority to investigate corruption without interference. Drawing on key U.S. Supreme Court precedents, including United States v. Williams (1992), we reaffirm the Grand Jury as “a tool for the people.”

The Message Is Clear

Even national figures — including @GenFlynn and @NayibBukele — emphasize that real change begins locally, starting with our Grand Juries. Accountability must return to the People.
